Google United States Department of labor sued Reject disclosure data

Bloomberg reported, Reject compensation data and related documents, Google is United States Department of labor sued; the Agency says, provides one of the routine compliance assessment of the content of these files.

In a statement, the Agency said in a September 2015, Google was asked to submit its plan for equal opportunities (equal opportunity program) information, and provide supporting files for compliance assessment. The Labor Department said that Google was a federal contractor, hence the need to allow the Government to check the archives, to conduct the audit.

According to the statement, the Ministry of labour has presented to the Department administrative law judge such action. The Labor Department says, if you fail to comply with the provisions of Google or cancellation of government contracts; Alphabet is the parent company Google Inc..

“While Google has created a voluntary surrender of such information, but Reject to do so. “The Office of federal contract compliance programs (OFCCP) Deputy Director Thomas m. Dowd said in a statement. “We filed this lawsuit in order to obtain information required to complete the assessment. ”

Google said that it provided to the Agency in the past year thousands of files, but a few of the requests of the Government or “too broad”, or looking for employees to confidential data.

“We are very committed to affirmative action obligations, employee multiple, and often talks about the importance of these issues,” the company said in a statement.
